Happy New Year everyone! We are looking forward to a new year and although we know we will have challenges along the way we are very optimistic and have a lot of fun things to look forward to! I'm excited to document our lives for a whole year. New Year's Eve was low key for us. We went to an event they held downtown for families called First Night Austin. They had singers, art stuff, and a parade. Let's just say it was VERY Austin. I'm not sure that I would go again next year, but the kids had a good time and at least we did something. Caitlin didn't even try to stay up (which is a first for her) and was asleep with me and Addie by nine. Jacob tried, but finally gave up at 11. Tony of course was the only one that stayed awake to ring in the new year. I was up shortly after to feed Addie, but went right back to bed.
We have made some resolutions this year. The kids and I have resolved to keep my car clean (if you have seen the inside you would understand this one), I have resolved to exercise more, Jacob has resolved to play less video games (this he came up on his own) and Caitlin thinks she is perfect and has no need for resolutions.
