Christmas 2008

I can't believe Christmas has come and gone. The kids started back to school today, so it's my first chance to sit down and update my blog. We had a wonderful Christmas and Addie had a great first Christmas. She saw Santa in November (a little early) and she wasn't even scared. She had the biggest smile the whole time, I guess that is why he brought her exactly what she asked for :). Aunt Michelle and Uncle Rufo came to spend the holiday with us so that made it extra special. Christmas Eve we went to four o'clock mass at St. Thomas and then came home, got cozy and ate and ate and ate and then open gifts. Jacob and Caitlin were so sweet and wanted Addie to open her gifts first. They waited so patiently while she opened all her gifts, then they tore into theirs. They actually went to bed at a decent time so Santa could come. Santa brought Caitlin an American Girl doll, Jacob a collectable Star Wars Lego set, and Addie a cute musical ball that moves on it's own. On Christmas Day we just ate again! The kids played with their new toys and then we walked to the park to try to work off some of the food we ate. It was a warm day and the kids had fun playing Monkey In The Middle and swinging on the swings.
