Took the kids to Mueller Park today for a picnic. We got there early to try to avoid some of the heat, it will be a great place to go when the weather cools off some. They have the neatest structures that are very unique and the older kids loved them. The picture of Caitlin and Jacob on the metal structure is a stand up merry go round of sorts. You stand on it and it will use your body weight to spin you around and around. I tried it out (I couldn't resist) and it was so much fun. Will make you dizzy in a hurry though. Addie liked the sandbox and Jacob and Caitlin helped her build sandcastles. There is water for the sandbox so you can pretend you are at the beach. We walked around the "lake" and looked at the fish. Enjoyed our picnic at one of the tables in the shade and headed out around noon before the 100 degree weather kicked in. Last week of summer!
