Well Cookie Sales hit our home in a big way this year. Caitlin, being a Brownie now, was able to sell cookies for the first time. She has sold 228 boxes and is near her goal of 250. She plans to hit her goal this weekend at her last booth. Her first booth was not a plesant one; it was 32 degrees outside, and very, very, windy. By the time we left we had only sold 11 boxes and we couldn't feel our toes. The next booths were much better and she had a great time. She used her manners and told everyone to "Have a Nice Day!" even if they didn't buy cookies.
I was the Cookie Mom for her troop so I was pretty involved too. At some points we had over 500 boxes of cookies in our house. I had a lot of cookie pick ups, money counting, and paper work to do but I loved it all and hope to be able to do it again next year.
