We had a fun day yesterday at the Texas Wildlife Expo. This is an event that we go to every year and the kids love it! They have everything you could possibly want in regards to the outdoors. The kids went fishing (both caught a catfish), tried a kayak, saw all kinds of reptiles and other animals, learned how to pitch a tent and much more. Caitlin even learned how to put out forest fires and Jacob went surfing. We were there for five hours and could have lasted longer if it wasn't so hot. We didn't even see everything they had, and hope to make it through more next year.
