Addison's Baptism

We had a wonderful time yesterday celebrating Addison's Baptism. All her Aunt's, Uncle's, Cousins, and Grandma Rosie and Grandpa Cruz were here to help her celebrate this special day. Uncle Matt and Aunt Jennifer are her Godparents and the Deacon who married us was the one who performed the ceremony at St. Thomas More. She wore a candlelight colored silk gown that was also worn by Jacob and Caitlin. The Deacon used a sea shell to pour the holy water on her head. They poured it three times and she only cried for a second on the third pour. The water's cold! They anointed her head with oil and I don't' want to wash it off yet. She smells so good and sweet. It was the end to a very nice weekend.

I like how in the pic with me and jen and the deacon we look like a bar graph that represents the U.S. Deficit over the last 5 years.

Also, do you notice Jacob in the background of Addison's close up????? What's up with that kid?
