The Boy Scouts had the opportunity to carry the flag in and march around the field before the Express baseball game at the Dell Diamond last week. Jacob was more interested in feeling what the grass felt like, than waving to the crowd, but he had fun. Afterwards, they played some of the games (Caitlin Bungee Jumped), ate, and watched the game. Addie clapped when everyone else did, Jacob understood the game. Caitlin,, wasn't so sure. I explained who the team in white was, and who the team in green was. She then asked who the team in solid blue was. It took me a while to figure out she meant the umpires! She needs to go to more games. It was a great night and we just love the Dell Diamond, what a nice ballpark!
