Caitlin and I had our first Girl Scout campout this weekend at Camp Texlake, which is about an hour from our house. We stayed in a cabin that was by the lake and it was beautiful. What a relaxing weekend. We fished, ate, made a birdhouse, ate, shopped at the Girl Scout store, ate, sang songs and made smore's. Caitlin caught the first fish (only one other girl caught one) and was so excited. It was small, but for her it might as well been a ten pounder. It was nice to visit with all the mom's while the girls did their thing. Addie did fairly well without me, but did have a rough time falling asleep. According to Jacob, she was terrible and cried a lot. Caitlin did well falling asleep, that was my biggest worry. We shared a room with the other Kaitlyn and her mom and Caitlin was so worn out it was easy to get her to go to sleep. Our next campout adventure is Seaworld in May. That won't be quite as easy. We are sleeping on the floor next to the sharks...
